Shelly currently serves as a math lab expert, mentor, parent coordinator and data coach for the WAY Academy Flint campus. Her 25+ years of experience have well prepared Shelly to take on each of those roles. Her favorite role is that of math lab expert because she enjoys helping struggling researchers understand math concepts. As a high school student, Shelly had a difficult time with math and understands the challenges involved with learning math.
As a result, Shelly has learned to break down concepts into smaller chunks for easier understanding. Shelly enjoys traveling around Michigan, eating good food, and watching good movies when she is not working.
