UM-FLINT ICE RINK OPEN SKATE

OPEN SKATE! UNIVERSITY PAVILION ICE RINK
November 30, 2018 – March 3, 2019

WEDNESDAYS: 6 – 9 P.M.
FRIDAYS : 5 – 8 P.M.
SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS: NOON – 4 P.M.

ADMISSION IS FREE 303 S. Saginaw Street, Flint, Michigan
SKATE RENTAL $3 (located inside Saginaw Room, UPAV) or bring your own skates.
NO hockey sticks/pucks or any other equipment or play items allowed during open skate.

NOTE Rink may be cleared periodically for ice resurfacing

Registration Period: After School Workshops in the Performing Arts

The New McCree Theatre is accepting registrations for its after school workshops in dance, vocal music, and theatre January 7 – 18, 2019.

Parents, are your children interested in discovering their artistic talents? Are they interested in developing those talents? Expose your children to the empowering aspects of the arts.  The New McCree Theatre, 2040 W. Carpenter Road, is accepting registrations for children, ages 5 – 14 for its FREE after school performing arts classes.  Please visit the theatre Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to register your children up to develop their talents in dance, vocal music, and theatre.  Classes will be held Monday through Thursday at McCree Theatre between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. beginning January 15. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES. Commitment to attendance is all we ask.  Call (810) 787-2200 if additional information is desired.  McCree Theatre, serving the cultural needs of Flint’s inner city!!!

 

WAY Academy of Flint Graduation

WAY Academy of Flint will have its graduation ceremony on June 25th at 6pm. The ceremony will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1653 Davison Rd, Flint, MI 48506.
