Graduation Requirements

Incoming 9th graders are required to earn a minimum of 22 credits to receive a diploma from WAY Academy of Flint. This track is encouraged for students planning on attending college.

Students who are behind in their amount of credits can be placed on a 20 credit graduation track. This track requires the same Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements, but reduced the amount of elective courses.

Students who are at risk of aging out of earning a high school diploma can be placed on a 18 credit graduation track. This track requires the same Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements, but reduces the amount of elective courses.
